Today reveals itself as the first day of the year, calling for enactments of our promised new years resolutions. I personally decided to steer away from any new years resolutions this year, which is somewhat of a reasoning behind this post featuring an outfit that I shot last year in August. I figured I didn’t really have much to say about the new year, so I thought I’d drop the conversation and just get back to posting outfits that should’ve been already posted.
These photo’s were taken when the cherry blossom I purchased a few years ago blossomed in late August , although it still hasn’t been planted (oops).
From the moment that they blossomed I began to feel anxiety, fearing that the flowers would die any day, so I quickly grabbed my camera and took these photo’s. These photo’s aren’t really about the outfit for me, it was really just about capturing the tree. However, the skirt is just simple navy A-line skirt along with a white knit to match.
Although I intended on skipping any new years talk, I’d like to end this first post of the year by wishing everyone a happy new year and may many good outfits come your way!
